I purchased them several years ago from the local Intrex computer store with Intel DH61BE motherboard that supports third-generation Core i3, i5, and i7 processors in the LGA1155 package at up to 3.5GHz. I originally used these two identical systems in a classroom environment where raw performance was not an issue. And-being the geek that I am-I also just wanted another hardware project with at least some little bit of justification. After all, these are perfectly good computers with yet untapped capabilities.
